Personal Data We May Collect From You

During the recruitment process and any subsequent engagement we may collect from you your personal details, including but not limited to your name and contact details (together with your e-mail address) and other relevant information from your CV. On occasions this may also include sensitive personal information such as details of criminal convictions and ethnic origin. This information is held, used and disclosed by us as follows:

  1. In our Recruitment System

Information provided by applicants will be held electronically in our recruitment system for the following purposes:

  • to enable you to submit your CV for general applications, to apply for specific jobs or to subscribe to our job alerts. Please see the separate section on your CV below which outlines additional uses and disclosures;
  • to match your details with job vacancies, to assist us in finding a position that is most suitable for you;
  • to answer your enquiries relating to applications for jobs with us.

We may transfer your personal data to third parties who perform functions on our behalf and who also provide services to us, such as employment checking services and occupational health checks.

We may release personal information to regulatory or law enforcement agencies, if they require us to do so. We will also disclose your information where we are permitted and requested to do so by law.

We may seek your consent to collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information for any other purpose not listed above.

Applicants’ information is held on our recruitment system for a maximum of seven years, for both successful and unsuccessful applicants, in order that we may consider you for future vacancies that may arise. Applicants may request that their details are removed from our recruitment system by emailing their request to

  1. In our HR and Payroll System

Information provided by successful applicants will be transferred to and held electronically on our HR and Payroll computer system for the following purposes:

  • to create your employee record which is used for the purposes of managing your employment and payments. This will include but is not limited to personal data such as address, date of birth, tax and bank details. This data is held in a secure environment and will be accessible only to authorised users of the HR and payroll system in both the UK and offices in other countries where HR and Payroll transactions are processed;
  • we will retain your records after you have left so that we can provide references or pension details etc when asked to do so.

Job Alerts

To subscribe to job alerts emails from us, you will be required to provide your e-mail address, which will be used for the purpose of keeping you informed, by e-mail, of our latest job opportunities. Should you decide that you no longer wish to receive this information, unsubscribe links are provided in every job alert email that you receive. Job alerts can also be received via RSS feeds without having to provide your email address.

Curriculum vitae (“CV”)

You can submit your CV via our website or through approved job boards. You can do this either to apply for a specific advertised job or for consideration by our recruitment consultants for positions as they come up. Your CV will be stored in our recruitment database, and will be accessible by our recruitment specialists in the UK.
